Queen’s Highway, Eleuthera
There’s a narrow stretch of highway roughly 65 miles long. It starts at the northern tip of Eleuthera and snakes south through farmlands and small towns and wild, untamed beauty. The road is paved with natural wonders and waters so stunningly clear, words do little to describe them.
Travellers have been known to spend up to an hour walking up and down the bridge or climbing the rocky bluff just north for the best view. The raucous royal blue waters of the Atlantic and quieter turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea compete endlessly for their attention.
Years and years of nature’s careful craftsmanship have resulted in The Queen’s Bath, natural pools warmed by the sun. Crashing waves only add to the dramatic cliffside scene.
